Moroz Psychological Services

There are times when, despite your best efforts and those of your trusted friends or family, despite researching the internet about what is normal and what you could do, finding solutions to your problem seems hopeless.

An appointment with a registered psychologist gives you the opportunity to speak with someone who understands that life problems happen to everyone, and works with evidence-based psychological strategies to make a difference in people’s lives. This is done in a confidential environment with your personal well-being as the focus.

There really is no substitute for the personal journey you can take with a psychologist, and there is nothing to lose as your comfort level and your personal goals will set the pace of treatment. Often treatment is completed in a few weeks or months.

Psychological services are not covered by provincial health care, but if you have a supplementary health care plan, there is usually an annual amount provided for treatment by a registered psychologist. The fees you pay that are not reimbursable are considered medical expenses for tax purposes. Marci’s fee for service is $190 per session.

Marci D Moroz has been a registered psychologist since 2002. In 2012, she migrated west to British Columbia and started an independent practice in the South Okanagan where she specializes in evidence-based treatment. Marci graduated in 2017 from CalSouthern University after completing a doctoral project called Late-Life Depression: Complexities in Diagnosis and Treatment. She is concerned about the lack of available resources to address mental health issues because she believes that ‘psychology is for everyone’. Marci has plans to write a book about why ‘no one is truly broken’ that will help her reach a larger audience.

Marci is located in the South Okanagan/Similkameen area of British Columbia, just east of Osoyoos.  Please contact her by phone or email ( for further information or to make an appointment.
